Imaginary Contract
Imaginary contract is a practice based research project. The piece investigates the value of reduced listening within the audio-visual relationship. The project was realized in response to the LCC comics archive and all audio material are concrete sounds extracted by the so called “silent” medium of comics; conceptually (icon) and physically (medium).
The piece investigates the existence of the audiovisual counterpoint. The horizontal narrative of the visuals and the audio are two independent movements that achieve a vertical harmony.
